The MT tag can only be assigned to multipurpose off-highway vehicles (MPOHVs). These vehicles are designed for off-highway use but can be driven on county roads if registered.
MT tags must be obtained from your county tag office. Before obtaining a tag, you will be required to prove your vehicle meets all the requirements for an MPOHV as specified in Georgia law O.C.G.A. § 40-1-1 (33.1). For more information, please review Policy Bulletin MVD-2023-04.
